Women’s Divisions

57kg: Mexico’s Guadalupe Sherlyn Torres Tavares controlled the tempo to earn a unanimous decision victory over Puerto Rico’s Coralis Cruz Rodriguez. Venezuela’s Omailyn Carolina Alcala Cegovia matched that dominance with a 5:0 win over Cuba’s Magda Emily Masso Bell.
60kg: Venezuela’s Krisandy Yusbeidy Rios Ojeda edged Colombia’s Camila Gabriela Camilo in a tight 3:2 split decision, flipping the script from their earlier match at the Guadalajara Qualifier. Meanwhile, Mexico’s Paula Jazmin Hernandez Cortes defeated host-nation athlete Katherine Jessica Bera Cabral via unanimous decision.
