Registration for 2026 PanAmerican Elite Continental Championships is now Open!

PUEBLA, MEXICO – Panamerican Boxing Confederation (PBC) and Mexican Boxing Federation (FMB) are pleased to announce that registration is now officially open for the prestigious 2026 PanAmerican Elite Continental Championships.
The premier event for elite men and women boxers across the Americas will be hosted in the historic and vibrant city of Puebla, Mexico, from October 17–25, 2026. This championship represents a corner stone of the continental boxing calendar and stands as the first critical step within the new Pan American Games qualification cycle.
"This event carries special prestige within the international boxing calendar," said Elise Seignolle, President of the Panamerican Boxing Confederation. "It will serve as the first qualification opportunity for boxing at the Lima 2027 Pan American Games, giving our athletes and National Federations an important step on the road to one of the most significant multi-sport events in the Americas. In addition, Panamerican Boxing Confederation’s 2026 Continental Championships will establish the selection criteria for the Panamerican Boxing Confederation delegation to the 2026 Papp Cup, an inter-continental dual competition against European Boxing to be held in November in Budapest, Hungary. We encourage all National Federations to begin their registration process and we thank the Mexican Boxing Federation for its continued support."
The competition will be conducted under the highest technical and operational standards, in accordance with World Boxing regulations, with bouts held at the historic Miguel Hidalgo Gymnasium.
Hosting this prestigious event has requires extensive collaboration and powerful local support. Puebla's commitment to sport as a human-centered vision is echoed by its sporting leadership.

Oscar Contreras Gonzalez, President of the Mexican Boxing Federation. "This championship will also provide an important opportunity to strengthen cooperation among our National Federations, promote the values of Olympic-style boxing, and continue building a solid future for our sport throughout the Americas."
All participating National Federations in good standing with World Boxing and Members of PBC must complete their initial Long List of Entries by 11:59 p.m. EST on September 20, 2026.
