Panamerican Boxing Confederation (PBC), through its Sustainability and Solidarity Commission, is pleased to announce a new partnership with the Association of Pan American Sports Confederations (ACODEPA) and FUNIBER, an international institution that offers online and blended-learning Bachelor's, Master's, Specialization, and Doctoral degree programs through a network of partner universities worldwide.
Through this collaboration, athletes, coaches, officials, administrators, and other members of our boxing community may have access to significant scholarship opportunities for internationally recognized academic programs that can be completed while maintaining their sporting and professional commitments. These programs are offered through FUNIBER and its partner universities, including UNEATLANTICO (Spain), UNINI (Mexico), UNIB (USA/Puerto Rico), and UNIROMANA (Dominican Republic).
Available scholarship benefits include:
Up to 75% scholarship support for Master's Degrees
Up to 70% scholarship support for Bachelor's Degrees
Up to 60% scholarship support for Doctoral Programs
Flexible monthly payment plans and additional discounts for upfront payments may also be available.
We kindly ask each National Federation to distribute this information widely among your athletes, coaches, officials, staff, and other stakeholders. One of the key objectives of this initiative is to support the educational and professional development of our boxing family throughout the Americas.
Interested applicants should review the attached scholarship information and submit their application directly through FUNIBER. When completing the application process, applicants should identify "Boxing" as their designated sport so that their participation can be properly associated with the Panamerican Boxing Confederation initiative.
PBC will work closely with ACODEPA and FUNIBER to monitor participation, academic progress, and outcomes. Tracking applicant engagement and student success will help us demonstrate the value of this program and strengthen our long-term relationship with ACODEPA, creating additional opportunities for our members in the future.
We encourage all eligible members to take advantage of this excellent opportunity to further their education while continuing their involvement in our sport.
Thank you for your support in promoting this initiative. Should you have any questions, please contact us, and we will be happy to connect you with the appropriate FUNIBER representatives.
You can find the application materials here (English or Spanish).
