• Quarterfinal Highlights

  • W-48kg: Fatima Herrera (MEX) secured a medal with a dominant RSC victory in the first round. Tatiana Flores (ARG) also advanced to the semifinals with a 3:2 split decision win. Nyousha Nakhjiri (CAN) fell in a narrow 3:2 split decision.

  • W-75kg: Barbara Santos (BRA) delivered a masterclass unanimous decision to secure her semifinal spot and a guaranteed medal.

  • M-90kg: Isaias Filho (BRA) dominated his quarterfinal, advancing with a unanimous decision.

• Round of 16 Results (Advancing to Quarterfinals):

  • Elite W-51kg: Esther Jimenez (DOM) advanced via Walkover against the top seed from Turkey. Noelle Haro (USA) moved forward after winning a "Confederation Clash" against McKenzie Wright (CAN) via 3:2 split decision.
