GIRARDOT, COLOMBIAPanAmerican Boxing Confederation has officially concluded the highly anticipated Copa América de Boxeo Girardot 2026. Under the tournament’s defining motto, "El ring nos une, la pasión nos impulsa" (The ring unites us, passion drives us), elite boxers from across the Americas gathered to compete at the highest level, delivering unforgettable performances and crowning the region's newest champions.

The tournament showcased incredible depth across both the women’s (Medallistas Femenino) and men’s (Medallistas Masculino) divisions, with standout gold-medal performances from continental powerhouses including Colombia, the United States, the Dominican Republic, and local regional selections.

Tournament Highlights & Key Results:

  • Women’s Elite Divisions: Host country favorites shone brightly, with Colombia’s Yenni Arias (54F), Angie Biodo (57F), Shirleidy Orozco (65F), and Daniela Montoya (75F) capturing gold. Meanwhile, Team USA secured dominant top-podium finishes with stellar performances from Jennifer Lozano (51F) and Kendra Samargis (70F).

  • Men’s Elite Divisions: The men's brackets delivered high-stakes drama. Team USA's Moises Rodriguez (55M) and Gilberth Kabanba (90+M) secured gold in commanding fashion. The Dominican Republic celebrated a major victory with Noel Pacheco taking the top spot in the competitive 80M division, while Colombia's Johan Caicedo locked down the 90M gold.
