SANTO DOMINGO, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC Panamerican Boxing Confederation (PBC) is proud to announce the official commencement of the boxing tournament at the XXV Central American & Caribbean Games – Santo Domingo 2026, beginning Saturday, August 1st.

As the continental governing body managing the competition in close coordination with regional sports authorities, PBC has finalized the official draw sheets across 14 Olympic weight divisions (7 Women's and 7 Men's). The tournament features 131 top-tier boxers (55 women and 76 men) representing 21 nations and territories across the region. Many of these athletes competed at the Qualifier held in Guadalajara, Mexico, and look to retain their position on the podium. Champions from Cuba, Venezuela, Mexico, and Colombia will be tested by rivals from throughout Central American and the Caribbean.

The opening day features 18 high-octane preliminary and quarterfinal bouts across two sessions (14:00 and 19:00 AST/EST). All information, including results, bout sheets, and recaps, can be found on our website panamericanboxing.org.

The event will be streamed on Centro Caribe Sport’s Youtube channel. We wish all of our athletes the best of fortunes as they step into the ring and represent their home nations!
